Empty states in put.io are text-first: a mono glyph or kaomoji, a plain headline, one actionable sentence. No artwork. The tone is dry, occasionally cheeky, never apologetic.

Target voice, not shipped. No app leads with a glyph yet: web TV shows an icon, headline and sentence; iOS a headline and sentence; the web app an icon and headline; Android and Roku text only. Shipped headlines include "No files whatsoever!", "No search result", "Your trash is empty".
