The field is an M3 pill on surfaceContainer; selecting it summons the system IME. No app-drawn keyboard and no mic affordance: put.io search is text over the files API, not Assistant.
History chips are M3 pills replaying past keywords as typed. A focused chip takes the stock 1.1 scale.
